PointGenie PoX – Live Places

Our commitment

PointGenie PoX is built for real-world discovery and live updates. To keep the community safe and useful, we enforce these guidelines across posts, check-ins, comments, photos, and messages.

By using PointGenie PoX, you agree to follow these rules. We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive behavior.

What’s allowed

We welcome content that helps people understand what’s happening right now at real places, such as:

  • Crowd level, wait time, and vibe updates
  • Photos related to the venue or experience
  • Helpful tips about the place (parking, dress code, music, etc.)
  • Respectful, relevant comments and conversations

What’s not allowed (zero tolerance)

We remove content and may suspend or ban accounts for any of the following:

1) Hate, harassment, or bullying

  • Hate speech or slurs
  • Attacks on a person or group based on protected characteristics
  • Threats, intimidation, or targeted harassment
  • Encouraging others to harass someone

2) Sexual content or exploitation

  • Nudity or sexually explicit content
  • Sexual content involving minors (zero tolerance; will be reported)
  • Solicitation of sexual services or exploitation

3) Violence and threats

  • Graphic violence or gore
  • Threats of violence or harm
  • Encouraging violence or criminal activity

4) Illegal, dangerous, or harmful activity

  • Instructions or promotion of illegal acts
  • Drug sales or distribution
  • Encouraging self-harm or dangerous behavior

5) Spam, scams, and impersonation

  • Spam, misleading promotions, or repetitive content
  • Fraud, phishing, scams, or attempts to steal information
  • Impersonating individuals or businesses
  • Coordinated inauthentic behavior

6) Privacy violations

  • Sharing personal information without consent (doxxing)
  • Posting private photos or messages without permission
  • Sharing someone’s location or identity in a harmful way

7) Misinformation that can cause harm

  • False information presented as fact that may cause real-world harm (e.g., safety incidents)
  • Coordinated deceptive behavior

Reporting and blocking

We provide tools to help you stay safe:

  • Report posts, comments, messages, check-ins, or users you believe violate these guidelines.
  • Block users to immediately stop interactions and hide their content from you.

Moderation and enforcement

We act quickly to keep the platform safe:

  • We review reports and act within 24 hours.
  • Actions may include: warning, content removal, restricting features, account suspension, or account termination.
  • Serious violations (especially exploitation, threats, or illegal content) may result in immediate removal and permanent ban.

Appeals

If you believe your content or account was removed in error, you may request a review by contacting support.
